Frequently asked Questions

Q. How many ponies come for a visit?

A. It’s generally one pony for a visit to a care home or children’s party, although two ponies may also be possible depending on space.

Q. Can the ponies be ridden?

A. No. Most of our ponies are never ridden.

Q. Can we feed the ponies?

A. Yes you can but the food needs to go in their food bucket and not be fed by hand otherwise it makes them cheeky looking for treats all the time and they are on strict diets.

Q. What about the call of Nature?

A. Our ponies wear a special pony nappy so there is no mess.

About Us

We are Sarah and my daughter Helen and a small team of wonderful volunteers. We've both grown up with horses and lived all our lives in Bristol. We adore our herd of seven ponies - they are so friendly and cute and often have us rolling around with laughter. We can't wait to share them with you.

I am also a complementary therapist specialising in deep personal transformation and healing. I work with a number of healing modalities including Equine Assisted Learning.
